Private by design, not by promise

Most finance apps are a front end for your data. Klaro isn't.

Stays on your device

Your ledger lives in an encrypted database on your phone. We never receive a copy.

No account, no tracking

No sign-up to start, no ads, and no analytics or tracking SDKs — ever.

Backups you control

Optional backup goes to your own private Google Drive folder — only you can open it.

Questions, answered

How a private, offline money tracker actually works.

Can I track my expenses without linking a bank account?

Yes. Klaro Ledger uses fast manual entry instead of bank connections — a transaction takes a few seconds to add, and no banking login ever goes into the app. Your credentials stay with your bank, and Klaro never needs read-access to your accounts.

Does it work offline?

Yes — Klaro is offline-first. Adding transactions, budgets, goals, and every chart run entirely on your phone, with no internet connection and no server round-trip. It's just as fast on a plane or with no signal.

Where is my financial data stored?

On your device only, in an encrypted database — there's no account and no cloud copy by default. If you turn on backup, it goes to your own private Google Drive folder, encrypted so only you can open it.

What's the difference between manual and automatic expense tracking?

Automatic apps link to your bank and import transactions for you. That's convenient, but it means handing over your banking credentials and, usually, your spending data to their servers. Manual tracking — how Klaro works — means you log each expense yourself: a little more effort, but nothing about your accounts is shared, and writing it down keeps you closer to where your money actually goes.

How does Klaro Ledger make money?

A simple subscription — US$1.99/month or US$17.99/year, with a 14-day free trial. That's the whole model: no ads, no trackers, and nothing about your spending is ever sold or shared. You're the customer, not the product — which is exactly why your data can stay on your device.
